Hob caters beauty services anytime, anywhere. Our professional beauty experts come to you, whether that’s at home, in the office or in your hotel room.

What services does hob offer?

Who are hob beauty experts?

We carefully hand pick, screen and certify each beauty expert in person. They are all professionally trained, incredibly talented and passionate about what they do. We collect regular feedback to ensure you receive a consistent 5* experience.

Can I choose my beauty expert?

Yes you can! You can re-book a beauty expert you had before or select a new one. Once you’ve chosen your beautician, you’ll see what their availability is so you can select a date and time that works for you. 

BOOKINGS & TREATMENTS

How do I book a treatment?
 

Download the free hob app or visit our website and register your details. Follow the steps to book your first appointment and once your request is submitted, you will be matched with a hob beauty expert. You will receive a confirmation email, detailing the name of your professional and your booking details.

When and where can I request a treatment?
 

hob services are available from 07:00 – 22:00. We currently cover Bangalore. If you’re in an area that we don’t currently operate, let us know via info@hobindia.in.

How do I get ready for my appointment?
 

You’ll receive all the information you need in your confirmation email. The most important thing is that you and the therapist can sit comfortably. Our therapists bring all the necessary products and tools with them. But if there are any products you would prefer they use or you have any allergies or concerns, please let them know.

Where should the Beauty Expert set up?

We want your experience to be a relaxing one, therefore we would recommend that our expert professional sets up in a room that is private and warm. Our professionals may need access to a power socket, good lighting and running water. They will also need enough room to set up their beauty couch, these are about 6ft long and 2ft wide.

What should I wear?

we would recommend to wear the gown provided by Beauty Expert or simply to a level you are comfortable with.

How do I amend my booking?

Contact hob salon at info@hobindia.in or via support chat and let us know what you’d like to change. Any changes to be made atleast 6 hours before appointment time.

LATENESS, CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

What is your cancellation policy? 

We know things can change, so we make it easy for you to cancel your appointment. We ask that you give a minimum of 24 hours notice.

How do I cancel a booking?

We ask that you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice. You can cancel by clicking onto your booking. You won’t incur any charges. For anything under 24 hours, please contact Customer Support. You will be charged 50% for cancelling a booking less than 4 hours away.

What is your late policy? 

You can message your Beauty Expert up to two hours before your booking. We ask all of our Beauty Expert to wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. If you do not attend the booking or the Beauty Expert is unable to carry out the full treatment(s), you will be charged the full price of your booking.

What if my therapist is late? 

Please notify hob Customer Support and they will contact the Beauty Expert. You will be given a discount as per decided By hob management policy.

How do I reschedule a booking? 

The cancellation policy also applies here. We ask you give us 24 hours notice if you wish to reschedule.

PAYMENTS

When will I be charged for my booking? 

Your can pay us both before service via card or other payment mode available with us. Or you can also pay cash or Other payment mode after taking the service.

My booking was cancelled. When do I get refunded? 

If your booking was confirmed with a Beauty Expert and cancelled for another reason, the Customer Support team will process the refund. Refunds can take up to 5 working days to appear in your account.

Can I tip my hob professional? 

Tips are not included and there is no obligation to do so, but if you would like show your appreciation of the service provided, you can do so at the end of your service.

I have a voucher code. How do I use it?

 Please enter the voucher code in the Discount box when you get to checkout. The value of the code will be deducted from your total booking cost.

I have a gift card. How do I use it?

 Enter coupon code mentioned in the gift card when you see the Discount box at the checkout. The value of your gift card will be deducted from your total booking cost.

HAIR

Do I need to have wet hair?

We recommend that you have towel dried hair in advance of having a blow dry. For any braiding or up-dos we suggest washing your hair the day before.

Will the hair stylist wash my hair?

No, please wash your hair before the stylist arrives.

How do I know I will get the look I want?

If you have a specific hair style that you want, email us some pictures and we can make sure you’re matched with the perfect stylist.

Can I see previous work that my stylist has done?

If you’d like to see some previous work that your professional has done, just let us know and we can send you some pictures.

COLOUR MY HAIR

How often can I color my hair?

We recommend you wait at least two weeks between permanent hair color applications.

Should I wash my hair before colouring?

It is not necessary to wash your hair before colouring. If you have styling products such as mousse or gel in your hair, comb it through before colouring to remove any excess product. If you use a wax-based product it needs to be washed out before you colour because it could prevent the colour from absorbing into your hair. Always begin colouring with dry hair.

Can I use hair color if I have henna in my hair?

Henna works by coating the hair shaft with colour, which makes it difficult for traditional hair colour to penetrate through and deposit new colour. HOB-House Of Beauty does not recommend colouring over hair that has henna on it. Instead, wait until you have at least 1-2 inches of regrowth before using hair colour. Then go for root touch up only.

How do I find my perfect shade?

Please share your email id with your hair picture clicked behind white wall/background . Our Colourist will contact you with their recommendation.

WAXING

I’ve booked a wax. What do I need to know? 

We recommend lying on a bed or a couch for waxing treatments. Your therapist will also need a nearby electrical socket to warm the wax.

Do your Beauty Expert use hot wax?

Yes, depending on the treatments, some of our experts use hot wax . If you have a special request for hot wax please detail this in your booking request or contact us directly so that we can ensure an appropriate Beauty Expert comes to you.

Can I have a wax and spray tan at the same time?

We do not recommend having a wax and a spray tan at the same time. If you were to have the spray tan first, waxing will remove the tan. If you were to have the wax first, this opens up your pores which may cause the tan to develop unevenly and can cause some irritation to the skin. You should wait 24 hours after your wax before you have a spray tan.

MANI & PEDI

I’ve booked a manicure/pedicure. What do I need to know?
 We recommend sitting at a table for manicures and either a table or sofa for pedicures. If you’re having a Shellac treatment, you’ll need to sit near an electrical socket so the professional can plug in their LED lamp. Your therapist will also need access to running water.

FACIAL

How often should I have a facial?

Regular facials should be thought of as an essential part of your skin regime. We recommend booking a facial every 4 weeks to keep your complexion clear and glowing, as this is when the skin naturally renews.

What facial brands I should use?

Each of us have our own preferred brand, these include CV, O3+, O2+ and also depend on the occasion and skin type. If you have a specific request please let us know when you make your booking or Let our beauty expert analyze your skin and suggest the best one.

MAKE UP

How do I know I will get the look I want?

If you have a specific look that you want, email us some pictures and we can make sure you’re matched with the perfect stylist.

Can I see previous work that my stylist has done?

If you’d like to see some previous work that your professional has done, just let us know and we can send you some pictures.

What make-up brands do your artists use?

Our make-up artists use a variety of the top brands and products on the market including MAC, Bobbi Brown, Maybelline, L'Oréal and Lakme. If you have a specific request please contact us directly so we can arrange the right professional to come to you.
